Based on a request to demonstrate the fuel efficiency and excellent environmental performance of MINI Japan's diesel vehicles, the team challenged whether a single diesel tank could reach the distance from MINI's headquarters in Tokyo to Lake Towada in Aomori. The entire journey covered 683 km.
Motor journalist Tatsuya Kushima conducted the entire test drive and captured the entire process on video. This project was filmed entirely in 4K, marking a significant technical advancement for Strategy SET. In Aomori, the groundbreaking drone DJI Ronin was used to not only shoot aerial but also capture dynamic movements on a low budget. By utilizing drones, they were able to produce authentic and sophisticated commercials while keeping costs low.
